Insert the tack through the fabric from back. 3. Put the base under the tack. 4. Turn back to the front. 5.Insert the button over the tack. 6. Insert the rod into the hole on the button. 7. The rod must be vertical. 8. Using a hammer pound the tack down connecting the button and the tack. 9. Shake the button vigorously, if it doesn't fall off, it's done.
