Digital Engine Tach Hour Meter Tachometer Gauge for Small Engine Boat Generator Lawn Mower Motorcycle Motocross ATV Snowmobile UTV This self-powered tach hour meter has 2 versions: - "Normal" version: Non-replaceable battery - "Standard" version: Replaceable battery Note: - This unit works on these gas engines which firing patterns are 1P1R(Spark plug firing ONCE PER REVOLUTION), 2P1R and 1P2R. NOT for all gasoline engines. - If the default engine firing pattern "1P1R" doesn't work, you should adjust firing pattern to 2P1R or 1P2R. Features: - This Tach/Maintenance/Hour Meter will keep track of true engine RPM and running time for most of 2/4 Stroke gasoline engines. - It is powered by one CR2450 lithium battery. No external power connections are required. - The operation of the tach hour meter is triggered by 5.5 ft. shielded and external lead, wrapped around the spark plug wire of the engine. - When the engine is on, the display will read the RPM of the engine. When the engine is off, the display will switch to total run time and remains visible. - You can reset total run hours. - Turn on/off function. When screen display blank, press either “M” or “S” button to turn on the meter.
