This Ambient Technologies Thermostatic On/Off Remote/Receiver can be used with a Millivolt Safety Pilot Valve for convenient on/off lighting as well as thermostat control. Features include: Backlit LCD display; temperature, flame on, and battery low indicators; Childproof protection; Thermal-safety shutdown (transmitter); 16 security codes; Battery receiver with easy battery access; and 6 hour optional safety shutdown. Radio frequency allows for multiple security codes----which virtually eliminates interference from other home appliances such as televisions, DVDs and stereos----and each remote will operate at a maximum distance of 30 feet with no interference from objects between the user and the receiver.
