Ariel Non-Alcoholic Wines Ariel wine is produced from premium California-grown wine grapes. Ariel is committed to making the highest quality, best-tasting dealcoholized wine available in the market today. Cold filtration Most other processes of alcohol removal require the use of heat and evaporation in order to remove the alcohol from the wine. Heat damages the natural flavor of the grape. The ARIEL process is done cold, usually at temperatures less than 55 degrees Fahrenheit. Ariel wine is never heated, and therefore retains the natural, flavorful quality of the fruit used to make it. Aged in small oak-barrels Oak-barrel aging result in flavors such as spices, caramel, and vanilla. It allows the wine to be able to "breathe" correctly resulting in better age-ability and flavor. Sustain-ably farmed ARIEL dealcoholized wines are made predominantly from fruit that was sustainably farmed in J. Lohr’s estate vineyards and are produced in J. Lohr’s state-of-the-art sustainable wineries. J. Lohr Vineyards & Wines, which recently received its distinction as a California Certified Sustainable Winegrower (CCSW), has adopted a set of industry best sustainable practices in its vineyards and winemaking facilities.
