This new in-Line filter assembly replacement is an improvement because you can see when there is debris through the clear housing. It also acts as a hose swivel, so if you want to put this on your old style hose, you can simply remove the first swivel in the hose and install this. This in-line pool filter features a nice big stainless steel filter screen.
