If amplifier does not power up, check to make sure it has good ground connection or check that remote input has atleast 9 vdc or check that there is battery power on the plus terminal or check that there is at 12 volt or make sure the protection led is not illuminated, if it is lit shut off the amplifier briefly and then re-power it
