The Boyd Sleep raised platform bed frame base is a metal mattress foundation which supports your entire mattress, eliminating the need for a box spring. Constructed with 100% anodized steel, this bed base provides a stable and quiet platform. Center leg supports help prevent mattress sagging and increases the life of your mattress. It's designed to be used independently or to fit inside most traditional bed frames, replacing wooden slats. With 14" of clearance space from the floor to the bottom of the side rail, this mattress foundation offers added storage space underneath your bed. The compact folding design makes it easy to transport in narrow spaces, such as doorways, elevators, and stairwells. The Boyd Sleep raised platform bed frame base assembles in minutes with no tools needed, and is compatible with innerspring/coil, memory foam, latex, and hybrid mattresses (sold separately). The Boyd Sleep bed skirt/base cover is compatible with the Boyd Sleep raised platform bed frame base (sold separately). This bed skirt measures 8" H, which covers up the exposed metal bed frame base, providing the appearance of a traditional box spring.
