This combo includes 2 semi opaque one quart poly jars, 1 feeder base, and 1 water base. The semi opaque jars make it easy to determine the feed and water levels. Both the plastic chick feeder and waterer are perfect for placing inside most brooders as chicks develop. The feeder has a guard which helps keep chicks from being able to scratch out all of the food. The waterer lip is small enough to help prevent chicks from drowning. Feeder Instructions: Put the feeder base together by aligning the tabs on the top piece with the openings on the lip of the bottom, press together, then twist clockwise. This will lock the base together. Then, place a jar on a flat, solid surface and fill with your choice of feed, grit, or even treats! Take the base and gently screw onto the jar while the jar is faced opening up. Flip over and place with your flock. Waterer Instructions: Fill the jar with water and gently screw on the base. Take special care to ensure that no cross-threading has occurred as this will keep the feeder and waterer from operating properly.
