Enfamil Premium A2 formula is made from special hand-picked European cows that naturally produce only the natural A2 milk protein. Why is that important? A2 protein is similar to that found in breast milk. Most cow’s milk found in grocery stores today, contain A1 and A2 milk proteins. Despite its name, A2 is thought to be the original variety. Many years ago, cows only produced A2 milk protein and it’s believed that as farmers began to breed for higher output more cows began to produce A1 milk protein.
