Enterosgel This oral intestinal adsorbent gel is designed to physically capture harmful substances on its surface whilst it moves along the gastrointestinal tract. It is based on organic mineral polymethylsiloxane polyhydrate (70%), that has a porous structure, and a gel-like consistency. In-vitro studies have shown high capacity to adsorb toxins from pathogenic bacteria such as: E.coli, Shigella, Staphylococcal aureus and Clostridium difficile and the viruses: norovirus and rotavirus that can cause diarrhoea. It also contains 30% Purified water . It is completely excreted within 12-24 hours, is a drug-free treatment, it is not absorbed, not metabolized and it is excreted unchanged. It does not contain substances that can cause allergic or toxic reactions and is free from preservatives, sugar, gluten, taste and colour.
