Install the battery in your phone. It is not uncommon for your phone's battery meter to give a false reading of the battery's charge (wrong number of bars) until 4 or 5 complete charging cycles. 3. Charge your battery overnight (8-12 hours) for the first 4-5 cycles. It is critical to get a full charge in those first few cycles. Do not deplete to 0%. Also remember that some smart phones need to "adapt" To the new battery. 4. Keep the battery dry and away from moist and corrosive materials. Never cross the terminals on the battery. 5. Recharge the battery once every 3 months when not in use. 6. Never use the battery If it becomes swollen.
