Designed to give those with limited mobility a way to increase independence and reduce the chance of dehydration by being able to drink whenever they want without assistance. Features graduation marks up to 900 ml, so fluid intake can be monitored. The hydrant is a one litre bottle with integrated cap/handle/hanging bracket, a drinking tube with a bite valve and a small clip to attach the tube to clothing if required. Bottle is hung from the bed, chair or wheelchair and the user simply takes hold of the tube, inserts the valve between their lips and gently sucks. The bite valve opens under pressure and closes when released so there is no leakage. Works well when hung slightly above head height, on a bed headboard or back of a day chair. Once the tube is full of fluid the whole system becomes a siphon and no further sucking is needed simply apply pressure on the valve and the fluid flows gently out. Suitable for water or other drinks such as cordial or fruit juice. All parts excluding tube and valve are dishwasher safe. Please note that this product has been specifically designed as a hydration aid for those with limited mobility, it is not suitable for use while walking, hiking etc. Bottle must be kept upright, please do not turn upside down.
