About this product
The most famous fixed blade knife in the world-"the KA-BAR"- was designed to serve our troops during World War II and is still doing it's job, with honors, more than 50 years later. The quality materials used and their classic construction, now with non slip Elastomer handles, double guards, and pinned on butt caps-are what made these the best all-purpose fighting utility knives manufactured today. Made exclusively in Olean, New York and proudly stamped KA-BAR. Knife comes with a KA-BAR sheath constructed of a tough hard shell plastic which is resistant to salt water and provides a hard surface which protects during rough use. Sheath has multiple tie-down ports allowing several mounting positions including up side down. The #5012 is the Foliage Green version of the legendary knife offering a full size blade with a partially serrated edge.
