It can open the door using a private 4-digit code you program directly into the unit. The temporary password option enables the user to program a temporary PIN for the visitors or delivery and service personnel to enter the garage without giving them your code. This temporary PIN feature only works on the garage door openers with the built-in radio receiver that supports this feature and will not work with external radio receivers. It comes with a one-button-to-close feature for garage door openers with the built-in radio receiver manufactured since 2006. This mode can be turned on or off through the keypad. It can be mounted conveniently outside your garage door so you can open or close it without a key or remote. The backlit keypad makes it easy to see the number in the darkness. The Security+ 2.0 rolling code technology assures a new code is sent every time the keypad is used. The weatherproof, flip protective cover provides weather resistance. This completely wireless keypad is powered by one 9-volt battery.
