About this product

Mefix is a conformable, flexible, and skin-friendly adhesive fabric tape designed to ensure air and water vapor passage, while providing gentle yet secure fixation. Being a soft stretchy tape, Mefix, follows the body contours and allows for normal movement while in place. The tape is non-absorbent and the stretchable fabric backing provides a barrier to blood and fluid. The polyacrylate adhesive that attaches to the skin has been designed to be gentle to the skin while also adhering to the skin securely. The tape comes with protective paper that is pre-measured in 4 inch intervals for easy measurement, application, and removal and can be cut to the desired shape and size of the wound. Mefix tape is skin-friendly, solvent free, and non-absorbent. It can be used to hold dressings and light devices, such as catheters and cannula, even on difficult flexing areas such as the neck, knees, and elbows.
