Neutrogena On-The-Spot Acne Treatment, Vanishing Formula 0.75 oz (21 g) - Some acne spot treatments contain high doses of the acne medication Benzoyl Peroxide, which can irritate the skin. It can also cause redness and dryness, which can make acne worse. Our formula contains just 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide, yet is clinically proven to be so effective that skin starts getting clearer on day 1 – all without over-drying, stinging, or burning skin. This fast-acting acne spot treatment is so lightweight that it quickly absorbs into the skin. And it goes deep down to the pores to kill particles that cause pimples and helps to prevent new ones from forming. HOW TO USE: Clean the skin thoroughly before applying this product. Cover the entire affected area with a thin layer one to three times daily. Because excessive drying of the skin may occur, start with one application daily, then gradually increase to two or three times daily if needed or as directed by a doctor. If bothersome dryness or peeling occurs, reduce application to once a day or every other day. If going outside, apply sunscreen after using this product. If irritation or sensitivity develops, stop the use of both products and ask a doctor.
