- This distiller has been calibrated to distill the water at the proper speed. This is done by carefully equalizing the size of the heating element, the cooling coils, and the fan.
- If you are looking for a cheap distiller, this isn't the unit for you. This distiller is built tough, with high-quality parts. Unfortunately that costs money. Includes a 1 year warranty and trained technical support.
- This distiller has passed a ridiculous number of stringent safety tests. Each unit is Q.C. tested and passes UL safety standards. Heavy duty grounded plugs come standard with each distiller.
- Requires filters, most of the time. Yes that's right, a water distiller usually requires a filter. The added activated charcoal filters remove VOCs and improve the smell and taste. If you have a pre-filter that contains activated charcoal or non-treated well water you do not need filters.

About this product
Nutriteam's countertop stainless distiller made by Megahome in Taiwan, is not the cheapest, not the fastest, or the fanciest! It is stainless steel inside and out. It is durable and attractive, and will not contain cheap parts or toxic chemicals. It is UL approved and safe to use. It will produce pure distilled water. Included in the package is: Water Distiller, 1 gallon glass collection bottle, six pack of charcoal filters, polypropylene nozzle with porcelain insert (see pictures) to hold your filters, and residue cleaner. We believe this is the best distiller money can buy. Could it be better? Perhaps...In fact we have been working with Megahome now for 25 years and we take customer feedback, concerns, recommendations etc. and try to incorporate them in updates to the distiller. We have seen a lot of changes over the years, so we're sure we will have to make more. In the meantime we have worked to offer a reliable, safe, trustworthy distiller for the home or office that is pretty darn good. We hope you agree!
