The OEMTOOLS 22891 3/8 Drive Magnetic Spark Plug Socket Set includes three sockets that fit most automotive spark plugs: 5/8" (16 mm), 9/16", 13/16". This deep well socket set features a strong magnet in every socket that holds the spark plug in place whether one is removing or installing the plug. Other non-magnetic spark plug socket sets have inserts in the sockets meant to hold the spark plugs in place, but the inserts often come out of the sockets and get stuck around the plug. These stuck inserts can be a pain to get out with greasy or dirty hands, especially if the inserts get stuck repeatedly during a multi-plug replacement. This, however, is not a problem with these magnetic sockets. Each piece in this spark plugs socket magnetic set will hold the spark plug in place without coming apart and creating extra work. The magnetic 6 point socket set prevents spark plugs from dropping during installation and adds extra strength to getting stubborn spark plugs unstuck as a spark plug removal tool. The OEM TOOLS 3/8 socket set is made from an alloy steel that has been heat-treated and that has a Hard Chrome™ Finish.
