Product Description Do you have vertical sliding windows with loose-fitting, worn or missing locks? Besides adding a “fresh look” to your windows with new locking hardware, these new locks can help add peace of mind by restoring the security features on your sliding windows. These replacement locks feature a cam-locking design that is most common on single-hung and double-hung vertical sliding windows. Each lock engages into a face-mount style keeper, included with this item. The upper, outermost sash on vertical sliding windows determines if it is a “single hung” or “double hung.” If the upper, outermost sash is non-movable, then it is a single hung window. A “double hung” window refers to both sash having the ability to slide up and down for ventilation purposes, and these sash locks can fit on both model types. The locks are constructed of diecast zinc and come in a corrosion-resistant, industry standard, white-painted finish to match existing hardware. Depending on the width of the windows, these locks can be used as singles or in pairs. Each set includes one lock, one keeper, installation fasteners and simple instructions. Installation of these locks is quick and easy and can be done with a simple handheld Phillips head screwdriver. These locks have 2-1/16 inch mounting hole centers.
