With a width of only 29 inches this scaffold fits through standard doorways. This unit can be double stacked (only with additional support, sold separately). It can also be combined with additional components to stack the units higher and create a customized interior scaffold system that meets the requirements of your particular job. Meets OSHA and ANSI scaffolding regulations. The GSSI unit works great on uneven terrain such as stairwells and is equipped with five-inch casters for rolling smoothly over rough surfaces. Its 1/2-inch plywood deck is riveted to a steel, powder coated support frame and is reinforced with two extra bars for safely supporting loads up to 1,000 pounds. Two safety latches keep the plywood deck in place and are easy to switch when it's time to raise or lower the platform. Casters swivel 360 degrees and are equipped with double-lock foot brakes so you won't ever find yourself riding a 6-foot skateboard down that steep stairwell. Measuring 29 inches wide, the whole unit fits easily through doors and around corners in tight hallways.
