You can also add competition to your workout with 5k races against your Facebook friends. Other interactive features include a nutrition and activity tracker, motivating text messages and emails, and workout videos available for download. The iFit module automatically uploads diverse workouts to your iFit Live-compatible fitness equipment. The iFit Live workouts are powered by Google Maps, giving you access to the world's running trails whether in Paris or Pasadena. Just decide where you want to run and draw your route; iFit will then turn it into a workout that's automatically uploaded to your fitness equipment. You can also select from dozens of iFit's favorite runs from around the world, or train for and compete in distance runs. You'll discover everything from 5k full runs to full marathons, taking you through the streets of Boston or the boroughs of New York City. As you work out, iFit Live controls the speed, incline, and resistance of your fitness equipment to simulate the terrain and distance of the route you're running.
