The allergen filter captures airborne particles, such as dust mites, pollens, smoke and pet dander; while the carbon layer reduces common smoke, cooking and pet odors and captures large dust particles, extending the life of the filter. The 22 inch tower is effective for filtering the air in rooms up to 153 sq. feet and offers 3 fan speeds depending on your needs. Uses Black+Decker allergen replacement filter # BXFLTY or GermGuardian HEPA replacement filter # FLT4825.
