The Simplicity Sidewinder is a battery opearted portable bobbin winding machine. The Sidewinder allows you to pre-wind bobbins in preparation for your sewing project, whenever or wherever you want. Why waste valuable “sewing time” winding bobbins on your machine, when you could be sitting in front of your favourite Create & Craft show winding simply and quickly on the Sidewinder. Being very compact it can be taken anywhere you want to go and is incredibly east to use. Place the cotton reel on the spool holder, take the thread around the winding wheel and then wrap around the bobbin. Push the button to start and that’s it! The machine automatically stops when the bobbin is full, or you can just press the button to stop it at any time.For perfect winding results, ensure the thread goes through the guide loop, around the thread tension adjuster following the indicator arrows to the bobbin.To fill a bobbin, push the guide bar towards the bobbin, positioning the bar between top and bottom of the bobbin. Push the red button to start and the machine will stop when the bobbin is full. If you wish to stop the winder simply push the guide bar away from the bobbin. Alternatively push the guide bar away from the bobbin and the machine will start and stop by pressing or releasing the start button.Does not fit bobbins from the Singer Centaur II and Husqvarna Viking machines.
