Smash Mute is a Fun & Entertaining Universal Remote Control with one Big, Fat, Red Button. It actually learns the mute signal from your television’s remote control and then duplicates that signal allowing you to mute your television in a Fun & Entertaining way. (Easy to follow 3-Step setup instructions are included.) Setting it up is so easy your Grandparents could do it! The big red button is approximately 200x larger than the average TV mute button making it Quick & Easy to use. The Heavy-Duty Smash Mute body measures 5-1/4" x 3" x 1-3/8" and makes your mute button easily accessible for when your phone rings or when a friend or family member calls your name from another room. Note: SmashMute works with remotes that use Infrared (IR) technology. It does not work with Radio Frequency (RF) technology. Please consult your owner’s manual to confirm your current remote uses Infared Technology.F. You will need to update the settings of your TV/Cable box from RF to IF (if possible).
