Kosher K-of-K (Parve)TRADITIONAL INDIAN CHAI RECIPESingle Serving: Bring fresh water to a rolling boil. Pour a cup (7 oz.) of hot water directly over the tea bag. Brew 3-5 minutes or to desired taste. Mix in 1 oz. milk and 1 tbsp. sugar.1/2 Gallon:Bring 7 cups (56 oz.) of fresh water to a rolling boil. Pour water over 10 tea bags and let steep for 3-5 minutes. Mix in 1 cup milk and 1/2 cup sugar.Stove Top Method (for a creamier, more flavorful drink):Mix 7 cups (56 oz.) fresh water, 1 cup milk and 1/2 cup sugar in a saucepan. Add 10 tea bags. Place on stovetop and bring to a rolling boil. Let boil 2 to 4 minutes. Remove tea bags and enjoy.Evaporated milk may be substituted for regular milk for an even creamier drink.
