Ordinary nightlights provide comfort in the dark, but they don't have much use when the power goes out. The Sylvania LED Power Failure Light is much more than a nightlight: This 3-in-1 device contains an LED nightlight with a built-in photo sensor that turns the light on automatically at dusk and off at dawn. It also contains built-in rechargeable batteries that turn the ultra-bright light on automatically if the power goes out, and you can even remove the LED Power Failure Light from the outlet to use its bright LED flashlight feature. This Sylvania Power Failure Light offers bright LED illumination during power failures, and a convenient night light the rest of the time. It is always charging while plugged in. When it senses a loss of power, the LED night light automatically comes on to light your way for up to 3 hours while still in the outlet. Or, take it out and use it as an LED flashlight. You'll never get left in the dark. Since this power-failure light uses LEDs, you'll never need to replace the bulbs. The light has three operating modes: "On" will turn the flashlight on and the night light off; "Off" will turn both the flashlight and the night light off; and "Automatic" will turn the flash light off but turn the night light on, which will activate when the integrated light sensor detects darkness. When plugged into an outlet, this emergency light will reach full charge in 15 hours.
