Need to eye level with the unit and cannot leave the room when using the headset. Needs to be put in audio out in the cable box. There is a knob on the back of the headset for left and right. The knob needs to be in the middle in order for sound to come into both ears. Syncing instructions are on the last page of the manual. Headset is very easy to sync. NOTE: The headset needs a full charge for at least 6-8 hours before use. Device should be plugged into the audio out on the cable box. If the customer has digital audio out then they will need to purchase a digital to RCA converter to connect the device. The "power on" button on the headset should be turned off when charging and the transmitter turned on. If on the headset, the power is turned ON while charging, the light will stay red. Customer would need to turn the MIC off to just get the TV sounds. If you have the MIC on, you will hear everything going on around you. There is a knob on the back of the headset for left and right.
