About this product
This is a great product ,it allows yourself to be part of the family pictures taken without having to have someone else take the photo. It's a radio transmitter so you don't need to point it at the camera, you can use it more covertly, like behind your back. Both the remote button and the receiver use AAA batteries. To save the batteries, both units have an off and on switch with indicator lights to let you know they are off or on. The button unit is small and has a place to attach a cord so one can attach it your wrist. not having to hold the button unit very helpful. You can use it with other camera brands by purchasing a different cable. If I change camera brands I will obtain a different cable for that camera.
