It’s designed to withstand breakage, and the aerodynamic oval shape cuts through the air and the grass, reducing drag. The 0.065” diameter is the same gauge that professional landscaping crews use on their grass trimmers, so you’ll get professional-grade results. This model has a 15” cutting diameter. That’s large enough to make smooth, even passes, but narrow enough so that you can still get in-between trees and shrubs without much problem. But the real reason this string trimmer is such a value is because it’s also an edger.
