A height attachment increases the mortiser's capacity by 1-3/4 inch, and if you still need more height, you can simply turn the 14-651's head 180 degrees to mortise off-table. It has four chisels and bits (1/4-inch x 1/4-inch; 5/16-inch x 5/16-inch; 3/8-inch x 3/8-inch; 1/2-inch x 1/2-inch). A cast iron base, adjustable fence and head ease adjustments between projects. 9 3/8-inches under head to base with a 5-inch stroke accepts multiple sizes assemblies and stock.
