Selected Home Pack Brand pork casings preserved in salt for the finest homemade sausage. DeWied Natural Hog Casings are best used for Fresh Sausage (such as Italian, bratwurst, Polish, smoked country etc.) Each packages of casings can make a total of 25 lbs of sausage. Keep natural casings in salt or brine in a cooler at 40º F (4.44º C) or lower. Do not freeze — it can weaken the casing once opened. Refrigerate after opening.
