The perfect school uniform short for your teenager or child who can't fit into traditional kid's sizes flat front. MEASURING FOR PROPER FIT: WAIST:Measure natural waist (but not over pants). Keep one finger between tape and body. Have your child stand tall with arms relaxed at his side. Using a soft vinyl measuring tape measure around the smallest part of the waist. Have child bend to the side. This will be the natural waistline. The tape should not be too tight. If measurements fall in more than one size, order the large size. SEAT/HIPS:Stand with the heels together and measure around the fullest part. INSEAM:Measure from the base of the crotch to the top of the shoe. Have your child stand with legs slightly apart. Using a soft vinyl tape measure, measure from just below his crotch down to the floor. Subtract 1�'' from your measurement. Record the length in inches, this is his inseam. You can also measure the inside seam of a pair of pants that fit well to find your child's inseam length. Place the pants on a level surface and measure the inside seam from the crotch to the hem.
