Once turned on, the UV fluorescent bulb generates a warm light, attracting insects. The innovative twist on/off feature allows you to easily turn the trap on or off and also ensures insects remain securely inside the trap even when it is turned off. This DynaTrap Insect Trap provides not one, not two, but three layers of protection against flying insects such as mosquitoes, biting flies, wasps, moths, and more. The UV bulb uses warmth and light to attract insects while the trap’s coating emits a scent similar to human breath (carbon dioxide) that mosquitoes find irresistible. Once the insects are close to the trap, the whisper-quiet fan traps them inside until the time of disposal.
