About this product

Chalkboard paint is a matt black paint specially designed for making a writeable and wipeable chalkboard surface. It is suitable for walls, concrete, brick, drywall, wood, metal and almost every other surface. It is completely non-toxic and water-based and is formulated for interior use. Only one coat guarantees a perfect finish. Chalkboard paint is ideal for home and office use to create chalkboards, drawings, graphs, menu boards and more. Application: Prior to painting make sure that the surface is clean, dry and sound. The surface should be cleaned from dirt, dust, loose material, oil, grease and mould. Old, glue-based paint should be removed, the surface should be cleaned with cold water and then primed. If the surface was previously painted with emulsion paint, clean it with water and detergent. Before application repair all cracks, scratches and holes with suitable mortar. Prime all unfinished or loose surfaces. Stir before use. Apply paint with a brush, roller or a paint gun.
