After turning off power switch,just wiggle old light socket, pull up the top cap,then cut off wire to remove old switch. 2-Prepare wire. Using wires trippers,cut the insulation from around each wire,twist them up and keep them nice and solid. 3-Accept new light socket. Wrap wire around one terminal in a clockwise motion,then tighten the screw with screwdriver.Repeat these with another terminal. 4-Test. Put cover on and snap it back down into the socket base,put on the new light,open power switch.You successfully complete light socket replacement when it lights.
