About this product
A smarter, more ergonomic way to plant bulbs and small saplings, Fiskars Xact Standing Planter makes holes, plants and covers while eliminating the need to bend or kneel. Made of lightweight, yet incredibly durable, aluminum with a sturdy composite handle, this easy-to-operate tool can plant bulbs or saplings up to 2.15 in. diameter and has a planting depth of up to 5.5 in. To use, press the bladed tip of the planter into the cultivated ground using the stepping pedal, pull the handle toward you to open the hole until you hear a click, and drop your bulb or sapling through the top of the planter. Simply remove the planter from the ground and tap down with your foot to cover your bulb or sapling. Before moving to the next hole, tap your foot on the stepping pedal’s lock button to release blades.
