The SK Edge features the fastest blade change mechanism possible in a utility knife. With just a press of a button, which doubles as a thumb stud, the blade can be released and replaced with virtually any standard utility knife blade, from the 0.016-inch (1/64-Inch) extra thin blade to the 0.039 (1mm) contractor grade blade. Designed as a high quality pocketknife that you can really use, the SK Edge features a stainless steel blade holder and belt clip with anodized material. Anodized material: A metal, typically aluminum, that has been coated with a protective or decorative layer of oxide, through a process of electrochemical conversion. The anodizing process affects the surface as well as the interior the metal. The anodized parts are quite durable, do not tarnish, resist abrasions, and maintain their cosmetic appearance for a long period of time. Aluminum handle.
