Instant Ocean Reef Crystals Reef Salt is formulated especially for use in reef aquariums. It contains essential ocean reef elements in concentrations greater than those found in natural sea water. Extra calcium encourages the growth of large and small polyp stony corals (LPS and SPS) as well as coralline algae. Extra trace elements provide an additional measure of vital nutrients, and extra vitamins help to promote vigorous growth and survival of corals, anemones and other invertebrates in a captive environment. Neutralizes traces of heavy metals often present in tap water. Mix Instant Ocean Reef Crystals Reef Salt with ordinary dechlorinated tap water – use ½ cup per gallon of water.
