It can control lighting including fluorescent and heavy duty loads such as fans and appliances. It can be used for both a single-pole and 3-way applications up to 100 feet. It can be programmed for multiple on/off events each day up to a total of 40 per week. This to-the-minute setting accuracy is very easy to program with a 6-button set. It has a LCD digital clock and readout. The random setting feature helps avoid a predictable timer controlled look. The battery backup feature avoids power outage resetting. Batteries are included.
