• The HACHIEMON RYOBA Japanese Hand Saw is produced using traditional Japanese techniques such as "asari-kako" (saw tooth setting) and "suki-kenma" (a special grinding method), so it's incredibly sharp and glides right through whatever wood you're cutting.
• Thanks to its double edge, it can be used effectively for both crosscuts and rip cuts.
• Since the blade is impulse hardened (by rapidly alternating hot and cold temperatures) for increased hardness and plated with electroless nickel, it's extremely durable and resistant to corrosion.
• In order to keep saw blade resistance to a minimum, the company logo is printed on with lasers.
