Baiting: Secure bait stations at locations where they will be readily accessible to California ground squirrels, preferably near active burrows. Secure stations 20 to 100 feet apart, depending upon density of the population. Wear waterproof gloves and use a long handled scooping device to transfer bait from the container to the station. Use two to four pounds of bait per station. Check bait stations frequently to insure that an uninterrupted supply of bait is always available for at least 15 days or until there are no longer any signs of feeding. Use Restrictions: This product may only be used to control California ground squirrels (Spermophilus Beechey) around buildings (including areas such as yards and flower gardens) in secured, tamper-resistant bait stations. The insecticide in this product may also act systemically to aid in the reduction of fleas that infest California ground squirrels. The types of fleas that might be controlled include, but are not necessarily limited to, Oropsylla montana and Hoplopsyllus anomalus. Use only for the sites, pests and application methods described on the label. Do not broadcast this product.
