Operating on a 10-year, sealed lithium battery that never needs replacement for the life of the alarm, the Kidde smoke detector provides continuous protection from smoke or fire, even during power outages. The Kidde battery operated smoke detector is easy to install on a wall or ceiling & automatically activates when attached to the mounting bracket. To ensure proper installation, the test-Hush button will electronically simulate the presence of smoke and cause the unit to sound. LED warning indicators provides indication of operation with 4 modes: standby, alarm mode, hush mode, & memory set. The Kidde battery operated smoke detector is ideal for your house or apartment and will give you peace of mind that you can keep your family safe in an emergency.
