Its four parts--heavy-duty aluminum shaft, reamer, shield, and strainer--are easy to assemble and attach to the stand mixer's powerful motor. Turn the mixer speed to level 6, and the reamer maintains a fast and steady spin. Press your fruit halves against it, and the juice pours out. You do have to exert a bit of pressure to extract all of the juice, but it's certainly not difficult to use.
