The dial requires a 1/4 turn to achieve positive engagement of the inner drive gear to the clutch ring. With a heavy duty internal spring and heavy dial detents, the 449SS locking hub is sure to stay engaged. The 449SS Manual Hub Set comes with 2 hubs to make a full set and is for use with 30 spline axles. There are many vehicle applications that can be referenced on our application guide, including Ford F Series Super Duty 1979 - 2004.
