• Complaint #1 - Urine leaks on to the floor or through the pad. It is a common misconception that a pad has 'leaked through' when urine is found under the pad. Absorbent dog pads have a bottom layer that is a liquid barrier preventing urine from leaking through the pad. Urine found under the pad can be from leak-over on the non-absorbent plastic perimeter of the pad. Once over the edge, urine is drawn back under the pad due to capillary action.
• Complaint #2 - Pad holders only fit pads that are the same basic shape and size as the holder. This issue is why the Pad Genius holder is not designed like a flat tray. Each side of the holder can be adjusted independently to perfectly fit all pads with dimensions as small as 20 Inch and as large as 32 Inch and every size in-between.
• Complaint #3 – My pad get pushed around, folded over and won’t stay in place, or my dog wants to play with the pad. The Pad Genius holder has grippers at all four corners to hold the pad securely within the frame. Our holder can save you money too if you are paying extra for pads with adhesive strips.
• Complaint #4 – I had to train my dog to use pads that are used inside a tray-type holder. Many dogs do like to stand on an unnatural feeling/sounding structure to urinate, particularly if they are already using pads on the floor. The Pad Genius holder allows the entire absorbent area of the pad to lay flat on the floor, just like your dog is used to.
