Whether the bristles be natural or synthetic, the ferrules round or flat, the handle must always be short for decorating. The choice of bristle toe - domed, angled or fan-shaped - is crucial. Spalter brushes are wider than other traditional brushes. Used for large and average surfaces, they are ideal for applying basecoats, glazes and varnishes, and an essential tool for interior decoration. This set of 3 assorted Spalter brushes allows covering surfaces with a gradual, uniform release of color. The Yellow Polyamide Fibers used in the fabrication of these brushes are absorbent and durable. They do not have the same capacity for holding color as natural fibers but they are more resitant. Their flexibility makes them perfect to apply liquified colors. These brushes have stainless steel ferules and wooden handles.
