PENN-PLAX presents the Cascade 455 Fully Submersible Internal Filter for Aquarium Corners. This filter quietly delivers crystal clear water throughout the aquarium. Its unique design allows it to unobtrusively utilize unused corner space. Furthermore, it cycles water at 120 gallons per hour (GPH) for fish tanks up to 20 gallons in size. It’s great for freshwater and saltwater aquariums, along with a variety of terrarium setups. Fully Submersible: The Cascade 455 utilizes 2 filter media chambers, and comes with filter media: 1 Bag of Activated Carbon, and 1 Bio-Sponge. In addition to optimizing the colonization of anaerobic bacteria, this filter traps floating particulate matter, removes harmful chemicals and toxins, clears up discolorations, and reduces foul odors from your aquarium’s water. Accommodating: The adjustable flow knob allows for increased or decreased water flow at will, which is extremely helpful during feeding times, or use it as needed. This filter also features a directional flow nozzle that allows you to move the direction of waterflow within your aquarium. Furthermore, this unit utilizes 6 suction cups to mount inside one of your tank’s corners. Spray Bar: In addition to the adjustable flow knob and directional flow nozzle, the Cascade 455 also includes an optional spray bar. The spray bar assembly allows you to either distribute water over the surface, or to simply keep things submerged within your aquarium by using the elbow joint.
