Product Description PRIER residential hydrants are the finest quality available. Made from heavy cast brass patterns, copper tubing with stainless steel and aluminum accessories, these hydrants are designed, built and tested to last for the life of your plumbing system. PRIER stems are made with heavy brass ends and are secured at the handle and at the seat with long wearing ACME threads. Since we secure our stem at both ends of the valve, we can manufacture a hydrant to virtually any length and not encounter problems associated with stem seating, rattling, or noise under flow. PRIER offers eight different residential models with as many as seven standard inlet options, twelve standard lengths and options for custom lengths and plating finishes. Replacement Stem for the Mansfield style wall hydrant manufactured from 1970-2006. This replacement stem is for the “Old Style” full-turn 500 series Mansfield style wall hydrants only. The stem comes complete with right and left hand packing and is pre-tapped (threaded) for the handle screw. • Replacement stem is 12 in. overall length and will work for the model 578-08* and 579-08* full-turn “old style” Mansfield hydrants (8 in. model hydrants have 12 in. overall length replacement stems) • Right hand and left hand graphite packing's are included • Pre-tapped (threaded) for the handle screw • Replaces stem in 500 series hydrants manufactured between 1970 and 2006 • Made in the Kansas city, Missouri From the Manufacturer PRIER residential hydrants are the finest quality available.
