If you're serious about recycling, the Reycling Rules black hanging "landfill" wastebasket may be the perfect solution for you. A study by Keep America Beautiful in 2015 showed that the most effective deskside solution is a recycling container and a small "attached" trash container. There's a tremendous amount of great information, including a link to a 126-page document (pdf) detailing the study's results. And if that wasn't enough, in addition to attaching to recycling containers, the hanging wastebasket has some alternative uses. The plastic clip has two screw slots which allows the hanging wastebasket to be mounted inside a cabinet. This makes it a great solution for collecting kitchen scraps for composting.
