Shiny stainless steel comprises its body while the base includes an added layer of copper cladding to enhance heat distribution. Attached with two screws, the black phenolic handle stays cool to the touch and fits comfortably in hand. A small button located at its top controls the spout's flip-top and ceases the whistle. Cleaning the exterior can be accomplished with a damp cloth but accessing the inner chamber is difficult as the only opening is through its spout.
